Fitness and taking care of myself has always been an important part of my life starting off with my gymnastics and competitive cheerleading background. Little did I know though that those sports were just a stepping stone in me finding what my true passion was. My love for fitness only became greater once I started CrossFit in 2015 at my home gym, Railroad CrossFit. At first it was just a hobby, something I’d ‘try out’, but very shortly after I had fallen in love with everything about the sport. It had pushed me to want to be more disciplined, more hard working, and really see what my fullest potential could be as an athlete. Which has now led me on the journey to achieving my goal of making it to the CrossFit Games.
My love of CrossFit not only stemmed from it being a positive impact on my life, but I immediately saw what a positive impact it had on everyone that was at the gym around me and I wanted to be apart of that change for others. I attained my Level 1 Certification about 6 months after taking my first CrossFit class and started coaching only a few short months later. Throughout my journey of coaching I also got interested in the nutrition side of things so I went through the process of receiving my Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certification. More recently I got my Level 2 Certification and have been coaching CrossFit now for 5 years.
It’s truly been such a honor to be apart of so many people’s stories of how health and fitness has transformed their life and it’s what keeps me driven to want to help even more. It is so rewarding knowing that everyday I am a source of help to someone becoming closer to being the best versions of themselves.
